An amount of Rs 1 crore 83 lakh 62 thousand was transferred through DBT to the accounts of 44 thousand 935 Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme beneficiaries of Tonk district.
The third beneficiary dialogue festival was organized at the Agriculture Auditorium of the District Headquarters on Monday evening regarding the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot transferred an amount of Rs 1 crore 83 lakh 62 thousand through DBT to the accounts of 44 thousand 935 Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme beneficiaries of Tonk district through video conference in the state level program organized at Umaid Stadium in Jodhpur. .
District Logistics Officer Mohanlal Dev said that under this scheme, the state government is transferring the amount of more than Rs 500 for a gas cylinder as subsidy to the accounts of consumers getting connections under BPL and Ujjwala schemes. People who have got connections under BPL and Ujjwala scheme, gas cylinders are being given for only Rs 500. District Council Chief Executive Officer Deshaldan, Additional District Collector Dr. Suraj Singh Negi, Subdivision Officer Tonk Kapil Sharma, Joint Director of Information and Technology Department Sandeep Kulshrestha and ADEO of Education Department Hiralal Jat were present in the beneficiary celebration program.
