Seven-day anti-polio campaign launched in 41 districts across the country

According to the Ministry of Health, more than 9.5 million children will be vaccinated against polio in this campaign, with more than 95 percent of children vaccinated against polio in the previous campaign.

Children cannot be vaccinated in Chaman and Qila Abdullah districts of Balochistan

The health ministry officials said that polio vaccines could not be administered in North, South Waziristan, Tang Bannu, Dikhan, Peshawar and Lucky Marwat.

Officials say 600,000 children are missing polio vaccines due to safety and other reasons.

According to the Ministry of Health, these 600,000 children will receive special polio vaccines in the latest polio campaign.
