New Delhi: The Election Commission on Friday said A case has been registered against BJP candidate K Sudhakar on charges of bribery and undue influence over voters. Cash amounting to Rs 4.8 crore was also seized.

According to a Deccan Herald report, he said the operation was carried out by Chakbalapura’s Flying Squad Team (FST).

Karnataka’s Chief Election Officer said in a post on ‘X’ on Friday that Chikkaballapura’s FST seized Rs 4.8 crore in cash.

An FIR was also registered against BJP candidate K Sudhakar at the police station.
