Surat, : The youth of Rander who supplied e-cigarettes worth Rs.5.64 lakh seized from Pandesara in Surat and Rs.2.70 lakh seized from SVNIT Circle has been swiftly handed over by SOG to Umra Police. .
According to information received from SOG sources, Surat city SOG seized e-cigarettes worth Rs.5.64 lakh from Ishwarnagar society house no.261 next to Pandesara road Bamroli police colony on February 16. After that SOG itself on February 22 from SVNIT located at Dumas Road Ichhanath. The youth was nabbed with e-cigarettes worth Rs.2.70 lakh from the circle. Md. Sabair Abdul Rauf Ravani of Rander was identified as the supplier in both cases. (U.W.30, Res.16, New Jamia Building, Opposite Fire Station, Morabhagal, Rander, Surat) was picked up.
His interrogation revealed that he used to buy and supply e-cigarettes sold openly in Mumbai’s Crawford Market in Surat. SOG has handed over the custody of Sabair to Umra Police, who was supplying e-cigarettes from home.
