Aminul Haque, PFI leader arrested in Guwahati, against PFI IG News

PFI leader Aminul Haque was arrested in Hatigaon, Guwahati on Thursday. According to Janib Para, PFI leaders were arrested in a joint operation by NIA, ED and security forces at PFI office in Hatigaon. During the year, four PFI leaders were arrested in Kamrupa Nagarbera.

It is noteworthy that the campaign against PFI continues in the entire country. In Assam, PFI offices and leaders have continued operations in various states of Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Aditya, ED and Arkhiya. According to the information received, more than 100 PFI leader-members have been arrested across the country at the end of this operation. In this year, 22 people were arrested in Kerala, 20 people in Maharashtra, 20 people in Karnataka, 11 people in Tamil Nadu, 9 people in Assam, 8 people in Uttar Pradesh, 5 people in Andhra Pradesh, 4 people in Madhya Pradesh, 4 people in Delhi, 2 people in Rajasthan and 2 people in Puducherry.

The security administration has been conducting operations against the funding and support of terrorist organizations and exhortation to join banned organizations. Recall that on Tuesday, 4 PFI members were arrested under UAPA. Until this day, a handful of 40-odd raids were underway.

PFI is an extremist Islamic organization that was formed in 2006. These organizations have been accused of engaging in activities prohibited by the NRC for funding the anti-CAA movement. Earlier this year, PFI leaders were accused of being involved in anti-national activities in uniform civil code.

PFI has branches in many countries outside India like UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Chad etc. PFIs bring foreign capital into India through these branches of capital raising abroad. There are also allegations of bad links with PFIs in China.

600 donors, 2600 beneficiary bank accounts have already been probed by ED. According to Janib Para, PFI organizes training camps abroad. It formed a terrorist group called Hit Squad in PFI which was accused of attacking BJP, RSS leaders. More than 150 strategies are implemented in PFI.
