According to information, the accident took place late Sunday night after a sudden fire broke out in a boat parked in the fishing harbor, after which the fire engulfed other boats as well. Due to which all the boats standing there were burnt to ashes.

As a result of the fire, 40 boats were burnt to ashes.

It is being told that about 40 boats have been burnt to ashes in this fire. On the other hand, as soon as the accident was reported, the police and fire brigade personnel reached the spot and started trying to extinguish the fire. The fire was so fierce that the fire brigade had to work hard to control it. After the accident, panic spread all around. A crowd of people gathered on the spot.

Police are busy investigating the matter

Visakhapatnam ADG Ravi Shankar said all the boats were parked on the shore. Meanwhile, a boat caught fire in the presence of some boys. According to the ADG, it is suspected that the fire broke out when the boys were partying. He said that the boat that caught fire had a full tank of diesel and gas cylinders.
