An armed extremist killed (6) people, including two policemen, in Tanzania

A gunman was shot dead in front of the French embassy in Dar es Salaam, the commercial capital of Tanzania, after two policemen were killed in an attack by the gunman.
Bloomberg News Agency quoted Police Inspector General Simon Siro on Wednesday as telling reporters that he did not yet know the motive behind the gunman’s attack, nor his identity. (3) Two policemen with two rifles he was carrying.

The French embassy building is located across from the former US embassy in Dar es Salaam, which al-Qaeda blew up 23 years ago in an attack that killed 11 people.
