Ananda Bose will be sworn in as the Governor of Bengal on 23rd IG News

Dr. CV Ananda Bose, who has been appointed as the Governor of West Bengal, will be sworn in on November 23 in Kolkata. Recently an announcement came out from Rashtrapati Bhavan that Ananda Bose has been appointed as the Governor of Bengal. Jagdeep Dhankar resigned from the post of Governor of Bengal to contest the Vice-Presidential election and the post became vacant. Since then Manipur Governor La Ganesan has been holding additional responsibilities for Bengal as well.

Ananda Bose is a former Indian Administrative Services officer of 1977 batch. He has previously served as Secretary to Government of India and Chief Secretary to State Governments. He also served as the Vice Chancellor of the University. CV Ananda Bose is also a good writer. He has written 32 books in English, Hindi and Malayalam.
