Anti-load-reduction protesters in Karachi arrested by police after filing lawsuit on behalf of K Electric
Locals protested outside the K Electric office in Karachi’s Liaquatabad area. Angry protesters also smashed the windows of a K Electric vehicle.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Central Zeeshan Siddiqui said a case has been registered against the protesters on the complaint of the Provincial Electricity Authority Riot and other provisions have been added to the case.
SSP Central Zeeshan Siddiqui said searches are underway to find the people seen in the video. Many people have been arrested.
On the other hand, locals in the FC area protested in front of the Sharifabad police station. Locals in the area protested against the registration of cases and the mass detention.
