Appeal for witnesses after grim Co-Wicklow attack – The Irish Times IG News

Gardai, who is investigating an attack on a man who was left in critical condition with head injuries, has appealed for any witnesses to the Co Wicklow attack.

A man in his 40s was attacked at a home in Wicklow, Ashfield, Arkalow, early Tuesday morning.

The man was found with wounds to his head and was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital. A Garda spokesman described the man’s current condition as critical.

Gardai is urging any witnesses to come forward for the attack. Investigating guards are trying to talk to anyone present in the area where the attack took place between 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm on Tuesday.

Camera footage or motorists who may have dash-cam footage of the area during this time period have been asked to contact Gardai.
