The official start of the Hangzhou Asian Games is to start from September 23. However, competitions for some events have already started before that. Competitions for many events including football and volleyball started from September 19 itself. This time India has sent a total of 655 players to the Asian Games, which is the largest contingent so far. India have already started their campaign at the Asian Games with the men’s volleyball team impressing the most.
