All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Sunday challenged Congress MP Rahul Gandhi to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections not from Wayanad but from Hyderabad.

Babri Masjid demolished

The AIMIM chief was addressing a public meeting in his parliamentary constituency Hyderabad. On this occasion, Owaisi said that Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh was demolished during the rule of the oldest party of the country.

He said, ‘I am challenging your leader (Rahul Gandhi) to contest elections not from Wayanad but from Hyderabad. You keep making big statements, come into the field and fight against me. Congress people will say a lot, but I am ready. He further said that Babri Masjid and Secretariat Mosque were demolished during the Congress rule.
