BC Lynx caught on camera playing with a rope swing IG News

IG News Updates,

A Traill BC resident had an unusual visitor in her backyard last week.

Kimberly Heppner looked back and saw a lynx playing with a rope swing at her West Kootenay home.

Lynx can be seen pawing at the rope and sometimes chewing and chasing it.

Heppner was able to record the encounter from her kitchen window.

According to the BC government, “Lynx are found in most of the province, but not on the Coastal Islands and only rarely in wet forests west of the Coast Ranges and the lower Mainland west of Hope.”

Lynx are also solitary animals and are mainly active at night.
