Nirmala, originally from Balaghat district, has been posted on the post of Assistant Grade-2 in ITI, Bhopal for the last 12 years. She left for Delhi on Wednesday night. From where she will go to Malaysia on Thursday. He told that from the championship held in Midnapore, I got selected in the International Championship being held in Malaysia. There she will take part in 2 km walk, 3 thousand meters and 1500 meters race. Before joining the job, she had played in 17 Nationals and one All India.

Nirmala told that after staying away from the field for 21 years, family and colleagues gave her courage. He motivated me to enter the field again. There were a lot of problems in the beginning, but did not give up. After this there was no looking back. Won many medals at national level in 2 years.
- Reached the All India Civil Services Games held in Haryana in 2021. Did not get medal here, but after this won one gold and two silver medals in the National Masters held in Thiruvananthapuram in May 2022. Here he won the gold medal by standing first in the 5000 meter walk. Won a silver medal in 400 meter race.
