Bihar Darbhanga Wife angry over husband second marriage sets house on fire four killed
The whole incident took place in Sheikhpura mohalla of Supaul Bazar in Biraul police station area. According to information received, a quarrel broke out between the two wives of Khurshid Alam. His first wife Parveen got angry in the controversy and set the house on fire early on Saturday morning. Four people, including Parveen, who set the house on fire, were burnt to death in the blaze.
Khurshid Alam, 40, and his second wife Roshni Khatun, who were badly burnt in the incident, were admitted to Darbhanga Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for treatment, but both succumbed to their injuries.
According to information received, Khurshid Alam, who works as a mechanic, was married to BB Parveen about ten years ago. But having no children, Khurshid had remarried to Roshni Khatun, 32, of a neighboring village two years ago. Parveen was not happy with her husband’s second marriage. She was constantly opposed to it. He also warned Khurshid. The two wives of Khurshid Alam had quarreled over this matter from time to time.

Khurshid Alam gave a statement to the police at the hospital before his death
The incident took place around 5 a.m. on Saturday, said Amit Kumar, DSP, headquarters, confirming the deaths of four people. Khurshid Alam, who was admitted to the hospital, gave his statement to the police before his death, according to which his first wife was provoked by some people, which is why he has caused such a big incident. Police declined to name the instigator. Police have registered a case on Khurshid Alam’s statement and started investigation.
