BJP holds meeting to discuss strategy – ThePrint Hindi IG News

New Delhi, September 11 (Language) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other party leaders held a meeting on Monday to discuss the strategy and preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh.

The meeting, which lasted for more than three hours, took place at Nadda’s residence here.

The meeting came days after the party released its first list of 39 candidates for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections.

Sources said that apart from the party’s preparations and strategy for the elections, names of other possible candidates were also discussed.

He informed that the list of possible candidates will be discussed in the BJP’s Central Election Committee meeting. The committee meeting is also expected to be held soon.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, state unit president VD Sharma, state organization general secretary Hitanand Sharma and Madhya Pradesh election in-charge and Union ministers Bhupendra Yadav and Ashwini Vaishnav were also present in the meeting.

BJP national general secretary (organisation) BL Santosh, party’s Madhya Pradesh election management committee convenor Narendra Singh Tomar and Kailash Vijayvargiya also attended the meeting.
