BJP leader sentenced to 5 years in prison for sexually abusing a child in school – News18 assam

A man has been sentenced to life in prison by a special bird’s eye court for sexually abusing a female student. It is to be noted that in the case of this incident which took place in the year 2016, a complaint under section 354 (a) of the Indian Penal Code was lodged with the Sonari Police Station.

According to the information, the nephew of the city of Soni Nagar, Vajo Bogiguguchit school, Kastaba Gandhi Girls’ School Aghaki Kalai, Gannik, and the Tathakhai Hichakha, who was in the wake of the six -year -old, said the six -year -old. The student’s father later lodged a complaint with the Sonari police station.

The case No. 16/17, which was lodged at Sonari Police Station, will be taken to court next time. Accordingly, legal proceedings have been initiated in Govt. The court on Thursday convicted the accused, Diganta Shaikh, at least in a long-running trial.

Accordingly, the court sentenced Diganta Shaikia to five years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000. Failure to pay the fine will result in an additional one month imprisonment, the court said in a final ruling. It is pertinent to note that the convicted Diganta Shaikia Charaideu is currently working as the office secretary of the district BJP.
