Canada has added a few medals to its tally at the Commonwealth Games.

Anna Godinez-Gonzalez of Surrey, BC, and Lachlan McNeil of Toronto both earned silver, and Alex Moore of Montreal and Hannah Taylor of Cornwall, PEI each took bronze.

Vale earned 291.85 points to take the top prize in her event, beating Australia’s Brittany May O’Brien (279.60) and England’s Amy Elizabeth Rawlinson (272.00).

Godinez-Gonzalez defeated India’s Sakshi Malik 4-4 in the final of the women’s freestyle 62kg final.

In the men’s 65kg final, McNeil lost 9-2 to India’s Bajrang Punia.

Taylor defeated Sofia Omutichio Ayeta of Kenya 4-0 in the bronze medal match of the women’s 57kg tournament.

Moore earned the bronze medal in the men’s 86 kg category bronze-medal match with a 10–0 win over New Zealand’s Matthew Oxenham.
