Udaipur The 502nd birth anniversary of Maharana Udai Singh II, the 53rd single Diwan of Mewar, was celebrated on Monday by the Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation.
Along with chanting mantras, garlands were offered to his portrait and lamps were lit at Rai Angan in the City Palace Museum. Historical information including pictures were displayed for tourists visiting the City Palace.
Administrative Officer of Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation, Bhupendra Singh Auwa said that Pannadhay has an honorable place in the history of Swami Bhakti. Udai Singh was the third son of Maharana Sangram Singh I.
