Officials are busy preparing for the assembly elections in the district and the Collector has assigned responsibilities to the officials. District Project Coordinator Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan has shown negligence in election work. Due to which the Collector has issued a show cause notice to the District Project Coordination.
District Project Coordinator Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Sumita Dutta has been appointed as Zone No. of Assembly Constituency 89-Bandhavgarh. 32-Zonal, Sector Officer of Mahobadar was appointed and directed to provide physical verification report of polling stations and information (VM-2, VM-3) of sensitive and hypersensitive polling stations and repeatedly telephoned the Collector’s office. Critical and vulnerable polling stations could not be determined due to non-availability of information even after informing. Due to which information about the district could not be sent in the Bhopal meeting.
Absent from the meeting without notice
District Project Coordinator Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Sumita Dutta, a review meeting of sector and zonal officers was organized on 29 August 2023, in which she was also absent without information. For not showing interest in nationally important work like elections and disobeying the orders of the officers, the Collector has issued a show cause notice and in case the reply is not submitted within the time limit and the reply is not found satisfactory, disciplinary action will also be taken.
