‘That beast attacked my grandson with an axe, until he lost his life. The grandson was lying stained with blood 50 meters away from the house. Seeing me, that brute said – Your grandson has been killed, go and pick him up.
This pain is of that old man, whose grandson was brutally murdered with an axe, six days ago. The accused is so crazy that when his brother died, he single-handedly dragged the body some distance away from the house and performed the last rites. He was not even drinking water from the village for 10 years. He kept his bike hanging on a tree for two years.
When Dainik Bhaskar’s team reached the village to find out the reason for the murder of the innocent child, a shocking revelation was made about the accused…

8 year old Shivansh was a third class student. He was the younger among two brothers. The accused attacked him with an ax until he died.
Daily newspaper The team reached Sirsi Nai village, 30 kilometers away from Ashoknagar district headquarters. The houses of the victim and the accused are opposite each other in the street. At the place where Shivansh was murdered, the bottle with which Shivaansh had left the house is still lying. He was studying, so he had also brought a pen in one hand. The people have poured ashes on the blood spread in the street. Still very few people are coming out of that street.
Multiple attacks on legs, head and neck
On September 6, 8 year old Shivansh was brutally murdered in village Sirsi Nai. The murder was committed by 65 year old neighbor Strong Singh. He attacked the child several times with an axe, on his leg, head and neck. The child died on the spot after being attacked on the neck 4 to 5 times. When the child’s grandfather reached the sound, the accused was running away. Seeing the crowd he climbed onto the roof of the house. Started throwing Kaballu at people.
After 2 hours of uproar, the police caught him and took him away. When the police was taking him away, he was saying only one thing – anyone would have come today, the murder had to be done. The police presented him in the court the next day, from where he was sent to jail.

The accused had stabbed Shivansh three to four times on his neck. He was also attacked with an axe.
Grandfather said- Grandson was studying after waking up in the morning.
Shivansh’s grandfather Mokam Singh Pal narrated the heart-wrenching scene of that day. He told that ‘I have three sons. The eldest is Sunil, then Anand and Vijay. Anand’s job is in Ashok Nagar, so he lives there. Elder sons Sunil and Vijay live in the village. There is 40 bighas of land on which they do farming together. Sunil has two sons, 11 year old Divyansh and 8 year old Shivansh. That beast snatched away our Shivansh.
Shivaansh was everyone’s favorite in the house. I was very much attached to him. He stayed with me most of the time. He also slept with me at night. Even on 5th September, after having dinner at night, he came and slept. He was certainly young, but he was serious about his studies. He used to go to the village to study with his elder brother.
When he woke up around 5 am on the morning of 6th September, he sat down to study. I kept looking at her while lying down, then got up, left her and went out for a walk. When he met some people near the culvert near his house, he started talking. At around 6.30 Shivansh left the house to go to the toilet. Within some time a screaming sound was heard.
I and the people present there ran towards the house. Neighbor Strong Singh was seen running towards his house with an ax in his hand. The ax was stained with blood. Seeing me he said – Your grandson has been killed, go and pick him up. My heart sank as soon as I heard this. When I moved ahead quickly, my grandson Shivansh was lying soaked in blood at a distance of 50 meters from the house.
The entire surrounding land was stained with the blood of the beloved. He was holding a bottle in one hand and a pen in the other. Tried to wake up the grandson by taking him in his lap, but he did not wake up. Neighbor Strong Singh attacked the child with an ax until he died. The child was stabbed several times on his leg, head and neck.

House of accused Strong Singh. After killing Shivansh, he climbed onto the roof of his house. Started throwing Kaballu at people.
The accused had climbed onto the roof after murder
The distance between the houses of the accused and the victim is about 100 meters. There is an exit lane between the two houses, along the edge of which the accused has made a fence with thorny bushes. After the murder, the accused climbed on top of his house. The villagers told that the accused Strong Singh ran away from there and sat on the roof of his house. Whenever someone went close to catch him, he would pick up a brick, stone or mortar and start hitting him. He was threatening to kill people. Despite many efforts he could not be caught. About two hours after the incident, the police arrived and arrested him.

Shivansh’s grandfather Mokam Singh told that the grandson was murdered at this very place. Even now the bottle with which Shivansh had left the house is lying on the roadside.
The dispute happened 12 years ago
Mokam Singh Pal told that I and the family of accused Strong Singh have been living face to face for almost 30 years. I built this house 35 years ago. At that time the nearby land was lying vacant. After about five years, accused Strong Singh also came and started living here with his mother and elder brother.
Showing the boundary, he said – This fence that you are seeing from the side of the street, about 12 years ago there was a dispute with the accused Strong Singh regarding this. Then I also went to Nai Sarai police station to file a report. The police even scolded me. After this the matter was over.
There was never any dispute after that incident. Earlier this lane was more than 15 feet wide, but the strong lion kept increasing the fence and the lane became narrower. Today the situation is that about 6 feet of the street is left. Despite this we did not tell him anything. Instead we made a way out from the other side.

Bicycle lying outside the accused’s house. From here he used to come and go to other villages to bring water and goods. He has not drank water from his village for 10 years.
Villagers said- He is not mad
We met the villagers to know about the accused. Suresh Kumar, who lives some distance away from the accused’s house, says that people are saying that he is mentally weak, but it is not so. Strong Leo is very smart. He deliberately acts like a madman. From buying goods from the market to doing all the household work himself. Not only this, water for bathing and drinking is brought from other villages. He had never argued with anyone before.

Villagers told that Strong Singh’s family consisted of his mother and elder brother. The elder brother was not married, while the accused Strong was married. He also had a son and daughter. Later he chased his wife and children away from home. It is said that after the arrival of his wife, he felt that there would be no distance between the two brothers, hence he did not allow his wife to stay at home.
Mother died about 10 years ago. Then these people did not allow any villager to attend the funeral. Both the brothers had taken the last rites of their mother some distance away from home. About 5 years ago the elder brother of the accused also died. Even then he kept the villagers away. He single-handedly dragged his brother’s body to some distance and performed the last rites.

Villagers say that after the death of his brother, his obsession had increased further.
Stopped drinking village water after mother’s death
Villagers say that it has been almost 10 years that Strong Singh has not even drunk the water of the village. After the death of their mother, both the brothers had stopped collecting water from the village. He did not even buy any items from the village shop along with water. He used to bring water as well as goods from nearby villages Parvai, Chiroli and Mayapur. Even the animals were fed water from another village. He did not care about anyone in the village. This sequence of the accused continued after the death of his brother. Whenever he felt like going somewhere, he would leave his hands and ride a bicycle, suddenly he would start running and start abusing people.

Kept the bike hanging on a tree for two years
Villagers say that the accused had sold the land he owned. Later he bought 18 bighas of land, which he transferred to his elder brother. He did this so that his wife and children could not claim their rights on that land. However, later he sold that land also to someone from another village. He had bought a bike after selling the land. After driving it for a few days he said, there is a soul inside it. It needed rest, after which the bike was hung on a tree. The bike remained hanging on the tree for about two years and was later sold.
The accused is very eccentric. The villagers of three villages have to go through the lane near the house of the victim and the accused. He kept encircling the street and making it smaller year after year. He had made a fence with the help of thorny bushes. Despite his actions, no one said anything to him. The victim’s family had made their exit from the other side.

Accused Strong Singh used to drink energy drink. There are piles of boxes in his house.
Used to consume energy drinks
After listening to the villagers, the team went to the house of the accused. Goods were scattered here. It was told among the people that the police had come to the house to investigate.
