The seeds for the construction of the largest dinosaur theme park in the country were laid on Wednesday. This park, which is being built at a cost of around 13.72 crores, is being built under the Waste to Health system. On Wednesday, Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena laid the foundation stone for the dinosaur theme park being built in the national capital, New Delhi. The second phase of this park is being constructed in 3.5 acres.
Delhi Municipal Corporation is building this dinosaur theme park. This park is being designed to attract children. 15 dinosaur figures will be installed in this park with about 250 tons of garbage. Besides, food courts will be set up in the park along with lighting and sound effects. The seven wonders of the world will be recreated in this park with the garbage collected by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Officials say that this is the first park where the seven wonders of the world are arranged in one place. This park is being built under the name Waste to Wonder.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the first phase of this park in February 2019. The latest phase of the park will be developed by the Delhi Municipal Corporation. Ahead of the G20 summit, Delhi municipal officials say such a project will add to the beauty of the national capital.
