Mumbai : Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is in limelight these days for his upcoming film Dream Girl 2. This film is going to release on 25 August. Ananya Pandey will be seen in the lead role in the film along with Ayushmann and both are busy promoting the film. It is a sequel to the family drama film Dream Girl in which Nushrat Bharucha was seen in the lead role. Everyone is questioning the replacement of Nushrat Bharucha with Ananya Panday in the film. Now Ayushmann Khurrana has also broken his silence on this issue.
Ayushmann Khurrana in an interview talked about replacing Ananya Panday with Nushrat Bharucha in the film. Also said that he wants to work with Ananya again.
Mathura’s accent was well caught
Ayushmann Khurrana said- This is the organic sequel of Dream Girl. We wanted a different cast in the film. Ananya fits into it. I think she is very brave and will add something to the film, the way she has picked up the accent in the film, the Mathura accent is commendable. It was fun working with him and I would love to work with him again in the future.
Nervous for Dream Girl
Ayushmann Khurrana said in the same interview that he is nervous for Dream Girl 2. Being nervous is also good, it looks like your 10th board exam result is about to come, but this is my aunty’s film, which is going to target more audience. You have ticked all the right boxes and it is also a sequel so it’s best to be safe as it is a heartwarming family entertainer. It is a fun film.
Talking about Dream Girl 2, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Seema Pahwa, Vijay Raj, Manjot Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Annu Kapoor will be seen playing important roles along with Ayushmann and Ananya Pandey.
