Driver taken to hospital after accident at A29, Arundel IG News

A driver has been taken to hospital in “fatal condition” after an accident with another vehicle.

Officers attended the Whiteways Lodge roundabout, near Arundel, A29 Bury Hill, on Thursday, August 18 at approximately 11.10 am. A Peugeot and a Range Rover were involved in the collision.

The driver of one of the vehicles involved has been taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth in a life-threatening condition.

The other driver was taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester with minor injuries.

The road was temporarily closed to allow emergency services to respond and recover the vehicles involved, but has since reopened.

Officers investigating the collision are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened, or who may have captured any relevant dash cam footage.
