Facebook account of BJP’s ally Nishad Party hacked – ThePrint Hindi IG News

Lucknow, September 26 (Language) The Facebook account of ‘Nirbal Indian Shoshit Hamara Aam Dal’ (Nishad) has reportedly been hacked.

Inspector Shravan Kumar of Gautampalli police station gave this information on Tuesday. He said that in this regard, on Monday, President of Nishad Party and Fisheries Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government, Sanjay Nishad lodged an FIR in the police station under relevant sections of the IT Act.

According to Kumar, in his complaint, Nishad said that his party operates an account on social media platform Facebook to promote its activities and ideology.

He told that this account of his party was hacked, efforts to recover it failed and another link is being opened in its place.

Inspector of Gautampalli police station said that after registering the FIR, the police is investigating the matter.

The Nishad Party contested the 2022 assembly elections as an ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and has six MLAs in the 403-member state assembly. Sanjay Nishad’s son Shravan Nishad is a BJP MLA and his elder son Praveen Nishad is a BJP MP from Sant Kabir Nagar.
