Crops turned black, harvested crops soaked in rain

Farmers protest in Pali: The drought of Shravan and the rains during harvest in Bhadrapada have brought tears to the farmers. Recently, farmers’ crops turned black due to incessant rains. On the other hand, the government has issued an order to the farmers to assess the damage themselves and upload the information online within 72 hours for compensation. But, farmers are not able to do Girdawari online, due to which they are worried about not getting compensation and insurance claims. Regarding this, farmers from different villages of the district reached the Collectorate on Wednesday and submitted a memorandum to the District Collector.
