A Morbi LCB team raided a factory named Vandan Enterprises in Awadh Industries area of Halwad based on information that fennel mixed with chemical powder harmful to human health was being sold and Rs. A huge quantity of 1,12,82,150 was seized and a scheme to send fennel from Halwad to other states was seized. In addition, accused Hiteshbhai Mukeshji Pishorelalji Aggarwal, age 36, resided in the factory named Vandan Enterprises located in Plot No. 3 and 4 in Halwad Awadh Industries Area by Morbi Crime Branch for the last two years. At present Halavad Vasant Park Society resides in Kishorebhai Thakkar’s house. Building No.- 15/41 on the floor Vasundha Area Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) arrested and interrogated, this person admitted that he bought fennel mixed with chemical powder harmful to human health from the farmers and then mixed the powder and chemical and sold it in other states, after which the accused confessed against the accused. The team of District LCB raided and seized 49,130 kg of adulterated fennel worth Rs 1,00,71,650 and 6400 kg of plain fennel, 3025 kg of chemically mixed powder and mobile fan worth Rs 1,12,82,150.
