Congress’s Jan Akrosh Yatra reached Jatara at 5:30 pm. In the public meeting, former minister in charge of Bundelkhand travel, Arun Yadav made announcements to woo the farmers. He said that Kamal Nath government had waived off loans worth Rs 14 thousand crore of farmers. After the formation of the government in 2023, the loans of farmers will be waived again.
In fact, on Monday, Congress’ Jan Akrosh Yatra had entered the district from Khargapur Assembly. Touring more than two dozen rural areas of Khargapur, the yatra reached Jatara at 5:30 pm. At various places on the way, Congress workers gave a warm welcome to senior Congress officials including Yatra in-charge Arun Yadav. During the public meeting in Jatara, State General Secretary of Congress Kiran Ahirwar appealed to the people to vote in favor of Congress.
During this, Yatra in-charge Arun Yadav said that the promises made by Kamal Nath to the public 5 years ago were being fulfilled. Loans of 27 lakh farmers were waived off. Now after returning to power, the loans of farmers will be waived off. He said that farmers will not have to pay electricity bills up to 3 horse power and 5 horse power. The Congress government will pay the bills up to 5 horse power. Wanting a mark on BJP, he said that Bharatiya Janata Party is in power in the state for 18 years. If Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had worked in the interest of the public, he would not have needed to take out Ashirwad Yatra. He accused BJP leaders of making false announcements.
Jan Aakrosh Yatra will reach Tikamgarh tomorrow
After touring Khargapur and Jatara today, the Yatra will reach Tikamgarh tomorrow on 26th September. After the city tour, a public meeting will be organized at Gandhi Square at 7.30 pm. After this, former minister Arun Yadav will rest for the night. Will reach Shiv Dham Kundeshwar on 27th September at 9 am and will have darshan and worship of Bholenath. After this the yatra will leave for Baragaon Dhasan.
