Former Chief Minister Punjab Pervez Elahi’s advisor and Chairman Chief Minister Complaint Cell Punjab Zubair Ahmed Khan was allegedly abducted from outside his residence in Rawalpindi.
Zubair Ahmed Khan was abducted from outside the house from Qasim Market, Gulnar Colony Lane 2, Thana Race Course area. The incident took place around 11 pm yesterday. The CCTV footage of the abduction of Zubair Ahmad Khan by unknown persons from outside his house has also come to light, in which it can be seen that he was abducted by persons dressed in plain clothes.

Shuja Zubair, son of Zubair Ahmad Khan, says that father Zubair Ahmad Khan was coming home, as soon as he entered the street, unknown persons dressed in plain clothes stopped his car at gunpoint and forced him out of the car and into another car. They fled while getting a ride.
The family members say that unknown armed persons dressed in plain clothes came on 2 vehicles and motorcycles. 11 people were armed. On hearing the noise of the driver, he ran back, then the unknown car and motorcycle rider escaped with his father.
Shuja Zubair said that a formal application has also been submitted to the police station race course on behalf of his father’s driver Muhammad Mubeen, who has been working as a driver for the past 15 years. But the hearing is not being done.
It was written in the petition that the accused kidnapped Zubair Khan by threatening him with serious consequences due to which his father’s life is in serious danger.
A case of abduction of Zubair Ahmed Khan was registered in Thana Race Course. The case was registered against Mubeen Ahmed, the driver of Zubair Ahmed Khan.
According to the case, as soon as the vehicle turned into the street to come home, unknown persons riding in two motorcycles and vehicles stopped the vehicle and forcibly abducted it, the accused took Zubair Khan along with threats.
Police say that a case has been registered. Action is being taken as per law.
