From Surat to different cities of Gujarat, stealing mobile phones from the crowd, five youths from Jharkhand were caught by the Saroli police from the border crossing check post, 29 mobile phones worth Rs.2.99 lakh were seized from them and the two crimes registered in Rajkot and Godhra were solved.

According to the information received from the police sources, Karan Ghos Mahonto, a native of Maharajpur, Sahebganj, Jharkhand and residing in the house of Bharatsingh Rajput on the third floor, Patelnagar house no. 29, under the overbridge near Godadara in Surat, from Saroli Seemada Naka check post, as per the details received by the police sources. ), Ajay Kumar Umesh Mahonto (age 19), Gautam Kumar Nandalal Goud (age 23), Kundan Mahendra Yadav (age 21) and Rajkumar Noniya alias Narayan Yadav (age 22) were given Rs. 2.99 lakhs worth of Mattana was seized along with 29 mobile phones. During interrogation by the police, he admitted to stealing mobile phones from Surat to Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Rajkot, Patan in different cities of Gujarat and there, he kept an eye on crowded places at vegetable markets and bus stands.

Among the five arrested, a case of mobile theft and mobile snatching has been registered against Rajkot Nonia alias Narayan Yadav in Salabatpura police station of Surat five years ago in Navapura police station of Vadodara city.
