Google pays tribute to Moin Akhtar’s birthday –
On the occasion of the 71st birthday of Pakistan’s most popular artist Moin Akhtar, Google has paid homage to him with its doodle.
Today is the 71st birthday of Moin Akhtar, the beloved artist who has been making people laugh for four decades.
Moin Akhtar, who opened his eyes in Karachi on December 24, 1950, was only a few months old when his father Muhammad Ibrahim Mehboob passed away. He migrated from Muradabad after the partition of India and settled in Karachi where his livelihood was connected with a business.
Along with dramas and comedy on stage, Moin Akhtar also showcased his talents and abilities as a host, singer and scriptwriter.
At the age of 16, Moin Akhtar gave his first performance on stage and won the hearts of the audience.
Moin Akhtar had gained recognition all over Pakistan in the 70’s. His most popular shows include games like Loose Talk, Fifty Fifty, Half Plate, Studio Dhai and Rozi.
Moin Akhtar’s art journey spans 45 years which is glorious and inspiring in every way. Moin Akhtar, who has won many awards, was also awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz and Tamgha-e-Hasan by the Government of Pakistan.
