Chandigarh- The Aam Aadmi Party has called a one-day session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha on September 27. Earlier, the Governor of Punjab, Banwari Lal Purohit, has asked the Secretary of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the legislative business details of the session. In a letter issued by the Punjab Raj Bhavan, it has asked about the purpose of the Vidhan Sabha session to be held on September 27.

Regarding this, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the 75-year-old never asked for details before. No governor asked for business before the session.

He has tweeted that the assent of the Government/President before any session of the Legislative Assembly is just a formality. In 75 years, no President/Government has ever asked for a list of legislative business before convening a session. Legislative business is decided by the BAC and the Speaker. The next government will also ask all speeches to be approved by him. This is too much.

Let us tell you that earlier the session of September 22 was canceled a day ago on the orders of the Governor.
