Telangana State Governor Tamilisai Saundara Rajan reached Bhadradri Kothagudem District as part of a one-day visit and participated as the chief guest in many programs. This is the fourth time that the Governor has visited Bhadrachalam in just one year. Earlier, she visited the Ram Temple and met with the tribals, the second time she met with President Draupadi Murmu, and the third time she participated in the Ramachandra Swamy coronation festival held in March. Also, during last year Godavari flood victims were visited in Ashwapuram. With this, the governor’s visit to the district for the fifth time and Bhadrachalam for the fourth time has been interesting throughout. Although he was initially told that he would come by helicopter, the governor reached Kottagudem by train on Tamili.

The Governor’s visit schedule is as follows.. The Governor left by train from Secunderabad Railway Station on 16th Tuesday night in Bhadradri Kothagudem district and reached Kothagudem at 4.15 am on Wednesday 16th May and reached ITC Guest House in Sarapaka by road. Later, at 8.30 am, they visited Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy at Bhadrachalam and performed special pooja. After that, they participated in the health awareness conference for the tribals held at the Veerabhadra function hall on Koonavaram road, meeting with the tribals and also participating in the Red Cross meeting. On this occasion, Governor Tamilsai Soundaryarajan said that he was very saddened to hear the problems of the tribal people here and the problems faced by the people of the 5 gram panchayats merged in Andhra.
The governor replied to the tribals who wanted to merge the 5 village panchayats merged in Andhra to Telangana and informed that he will take this issue to the attention of the central government and take steps to solve it. The governor who came to participate in the program said that he prayed to Sitarama Chandraswamy that everyone is fine in Telugu. He said that he understands the problems here that no Tamil girl child is a sister to the people of Telangana. The adivasis have been entrusted with the responsibility of solving the problem and promised to solve it. After the completion of the program, they reached ITC Guest House at 12 o’clock, finished their meal and reached NNSP Guest House in Khammam from Illendu Guest House Kuakkadi in Kothagudem.
