Hundreds of people gheraoed the collectorate for nearly four hours on Monday, alleging the counting of votes took place after voting in the Panchayat elections on June 25. In this, alleging irregularities in the counting of candidates for the post of district, district and sarpanch on different posts and demanded recounting of votes. All complaints have been sent to Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh. These complaints have been made by Bharti Rawat, District Member candidate from Ward 2, Geeta Kushwaha, District Panchayat Member from Ward 10, Anil Rawat, District Member from Panihar and Vejanti Devi in Banwar Bhitarwar. And shouted for hours. When I met the officers in the evening, they told that a complaint should have been made at the polling station. The counting of votes has been done as per the rules of the State Election Commission. After this the villagers went back.
Municipal elections: suspension of 13 employees absent in training
On Monday, the first day of the second training of the civic elections, 13 employees remained absent, who have been suspended. ADM HB Sharma said that in the training, Rajiv Dubey of Jiwaji University, RN Jamoria of SLP College, Vijay Batham, teacher of Education Center Dabra, Suresh Mandeliya of Joint Commissioner Cooperative, Assistant Accounts Officer Ramprasad Ojha of Transport Commissioner’s office, besides assistant class- Departmental inquiry has been started by suspending 3 Rajesh Dixit, teacher Tanuja Khatri, assistant teacher Rishi Gaur, Bhritya Kalicharan Valmik, teacher Shishupal, peon Munnalal Batham and Sanjay Adivasi and assistant teacher Umrao Singh Banjara with immediate effect.
Anuradha became the election media in-charge of Congress
For the purpose of speaking in favor of the authorized candidates of the Congress party, state Congress spokespersons have been appointed body-wise in-charge. In this, state spokesperson Anuradha Singh, Ram Pandey, Siddharth Singh Rajawat have been made election media in-charge in Gwalior.
