Accused in police custody.
Dantaramgarh police station of Sikar district has arrested the absconding accused from Chhattisgarh who was absconding for four years. The accused barged into the house and attacked the family with an ax. The accused had absconded after the attack.
Dataramgarh police station said that on September 1, 2021, complainant Richhkaran (60), resident of Pachar, Dataramgarh, had given a report to the police. It was told in the report that he was at his brother’s house at seven in the evening. During this time, more than a dozen people came in 5-6 vehicles and started beating the complainant and his brother and attacked him fatally with an axe. The complainant and his brother suffered serious head injuries in the attack.
After the incident, the accused ran away threatening to destroy the family. The complainant informed the police about the incident and registered a case. Police registered a case and started investigation and raided the hideouts to nab the accused. During this, the police received information from sources that the accused involved in the attack is hiding in Korba district of Chhattisgarh. The police team arrested the accused from Korba. The accused was identified as Ramesh (27), resident of Kunchman City, Didwana. The accused was absconding for the last 4 years. There are 2 criminal cases registered against the accused in Barmer also. At the same time, the police is looking for 6-7 other accused in the case.
