Researchers have found a solution to resistant bacteria causing problems around the world. More and more staphylococci around the world are becoming resistant to antibiotics, and infections caused by them can be difficult to treat.

Researchers have discovered a substance called endolysin, which has been successful in killing both resistant and non-resistant Staphylococcus aureus without the need for antibiotics. The spectrum of Staph infection can range from minor abscesses or skin abscesses to life-threatening infections such as septicemia (infection of the blood) or endocarditis (infection of the lining of the heart).
