KARACHI: Participants of the 5th HR Tech Summit urged for increasing the use of technology in all areas of HR at the 5th edition of HR Legends Conference HR Tech Summit Asia 2023 held at a local hotel in Karachi on Monday.
Founder and CEO HR Legends, Ghulam Mustafa said HR professionals should adopt digital apps and modernize technology to get the best results, but not more than 15 per cent.
HR professionals had practical experience on this when they were addressing the participants in the inaugural session. He said the main challenge for HR professionals is data and how to collect the data. He announced the launch of “Talent Beep” designed by HR veterans. Meet all HR needs. He also discussed the components of HR transformation while concluding his speech.
The second keynote speaker was Faisal Qamar, Managing Partner, Decibel – BPO, who emphasized on the development of digital culture and readiness of HR professionals and said that Google has changed the landscape by developing apps globally.
The role of human resource is very dismal in the current economic downturn due to the depreciation in currency value and inflation going on day to day. He underlined the need for our youth global migration to earn foreign exchange for Pakistan and rejected the notion of brain drain and lack of talent.
Country Head Sap Saqib Ahmed, HR Head of Sanofi Shakeel Mapara, HR heads and HR officers also attended the conference.
