He said this while delivering a speech at a ceremony held to honor anti-crime officers and personnel of the Central Police Headquarters in Lahore. on this Friday
The IG Punjab stressed that the officers should maintain close contact with their subordinate officers and transfer the motivation of command to the lowest level. He directed that no effort should be spared in providing justice to the people.
Dr. Usman Anwar of IG Punjab presented cash prizes and certificates of honor to the police teams for their outstanding performance in curbing crime. Police teams from the Crime Suppression Division, 12 teams, 6 teams from the Investigation Division, and 1 team from the Operations Division received awards as encouragement.

Inspector Waqas Bukhari and his team were awarded for arresting suspects of the notorious ‘Topi gang’ wanted in robbery and murder cases. Inspector Jasim Ahmad and his team were awarded for arresting suspect Khalilur Rehman who was involved in drug supply from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and seizing a large quantity of drugs. Sub-Inspector Umar Daraz was awarded for arresting dangerous criminals of Hafiz, Shahbaz Khasha and Malik Waqas gangs who were wanted in various murder cases. Other police teams received certificates and awards for arresting dangerous suspects who were wanted in senseless murder, robbery and various other crimes.
Also present were IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, AIG Admin Muhammad Rizwan Ahmad Khan, AIG Discipline Asif Amin Awan, SSP Security Lahore Abdul Wahab, SP Headquarters Traffic Police Lahore Soahil Fazil and other police officers.
