Hindu extremists in Gujarat beat to death a Muslim cricket fan for praising a Muslim player during a match, media reports said. Salman Vehra was attacked with punches, kicks, sticks and knives by the Hindu extremists.

During the match on June 22, only 500 Muslim spectators out of the 5,000 seats in the local stadium were in attendance.
