While I’ve only seen sales reports from a few news agencies so far, one interesting stand-out in Mother’s Day card sales is the increase in Mother’s Day lifestyle cards. It is noteworthy, worthy of attention. Now, this may have to do with supplier segmentation. It is too early to tell.
More broadly on the season, the results appear OK, not spectacular, but OK… until last year.
Aside from Mother’s Day, I’m seeing continued good growth in daily captions, 10% and above. 2023 is shaping up to be a good year for card sales.
