SUKKUR: The Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) in Sukkur district of Sindh has arrested an alleged terrorist of the banned outfit who attacked the forces.
According to ARY News, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police in Sukkur conducted an operation and arrested a terrorist belonging to the banned outfit, from whose possession weapons were also recovered.
According to CTD officials, the accused received training from the camp of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and then joined the banned party.
During the interrogation, the accused confessed to several crimes and said that he was the deputy commander of the training camp of the banned organization while he also attacked the camp of the forces along with his associates.
According to CTD officials, security forces retaliated during the attack on the camp in which the terrorist’s accomplice Bahram Murree was killed.
The accused confessed that he had hidden ammunition and weapons underground in Kohlu area. The buried weapons included 7 Kalashnikovs, 7 mortar shells and LMG.
