RAWALPINDI: A group of car thieves opened fire on police, injuring two persons including a woman.
According to ARY News correspondent, the group tried to steal a vehicle on Sixth Road in Rawalpindi, on which police arrived.
As soon as they saw the police, the gunmen opened fire on them, killing a passerby and a man.
According to a police spokesman, two persons, including a woman, were injured in the firing and have been shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. According to police, the accused left their vehicle and fled, which has been seized and is being investigated.

According to a police spokesman, the accused also snatched another vehicle from the Islamabad area, which they left in the forest and fled.
