ISLAMABAD: The trade deficit widened by 30 per cent during July-May compared to the same period last year, while imports increased by 22.52 per cent during the same period, the Bureau of Statistics said.
The trade deficit widened by 30.56% to جولائی 27.48 billion during the July-May period, according to the Bureau of Statistics. Exports increased by 13.97% from July to May.
Exports totaled ارب 22.56 billion during July-May.
Exports stood at برآمد 19.79 billion in the same period last year, according to the statistics. Imports increased by 22.52% from July to May. Imports amounted to ارب 50.4 billion.
It also said that imports during the same period last year were 40 40.84 billion.
