Hong Kong-based company Hansen has introduced the human prototype robot ‘Grace’ after the Sofia robot for the health sector.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, the company has taken into account the healthcare market in the new project, this special robot is designed to communicate with the elderly and lonely people.
The robot is made with Asian features, and a thermal camera is mounted on Grace’s chest, dressed in a nurse’s uniform, making it easier for her to take patients’ temperatures.
The artificial intelligence technology has also been used to create a robot called Grace, which will allow her to speak two regional Chinese languages in addition to English.
David Hanson, the company’s chief executive, says the goal of making Grace look like a doctor is to ease the burden on medical staff during epidemics.
