The National Assembly passed the Right to Review Bill Ordinance 2020 to make the decision of the International Court of Justice effective.
The legislation will enable the National Assembly to reconsider the decision of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadeo.
The bill presented by Federal Law Minister Forough Naseem was passed by a majority in the National Assembly.
Referring to the bill, Forough Naseem said in the House that it was a law that the opposition should have passed together.
He said that opposition parties today tried to achieve Indian goals.
He said that the International Court of Justice had clearly asked for an appeals law, if we did not bring this law, India would run in the Security Council.
Forough Naseem also said that if the bill had not been passed, India would have gone to the UN and filed a contempt case in the International Court of Justice. In the interest of Pakistan, the opposition should have joined hands to pass the law.
