LAHORE: The Punjab government has taken a final decision to block the mobile SIM cards of those who have not been vaccinated against the corona virus.
According to details, the Punjab government has taken important decisions to curb the Karuna epidemic and speed up the vaccination process. Mobile SIM cards of non-vaccinators will be blocked.
In this regard, a review meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Punjab Health Minister Yasmeen Rashid in which proposals to curb the spread of Karuna epidemic in the province and increase the number of vaccination centers were reviewed.
It was decided in the meeting that businesses would be opened in the districts where 20% of the population has been vaccinated. The Department of Primary and Secondary Health Care will issue a notification in this regard.

It has also been decided to vaccinate people over the age of 18 in Punjab from June 12. Mobile vaccination camps will be set up outside important shrines in Punjab.
The meeting also reviewed the increase in facilities in government hospitals and other measures. The Health Secretaries were commended for the significant reduction in cases of corona virus and deaths due to infection in the province.
Provincial Minister Yasmeen Rashid said that the number of corona patients in the province has decreased significantly, the government is using all its resources to cure corona, the credit for the clear reduction in positive corona cases goes to the administration.
Yasmeen Rashid said that vaccination of people over 18 years of age is being started from Saturday and the process of vaccination will be made a complete success.
