In the 17th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 6, Lahore Qalandars gave Peshawar Zalmi a target of 171 runs to win.
In the match being played in Abu Dhabi, Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and invited Lahore Qalandars to bat.
Lahore Qalandars scored 170 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Tim David remained unbeaten on 68 off 36 balls.
Peshawar Zalmi’s captain Wahab Riaz won the toss and elected to field first and 4 Lahore Qalandars players returned to the pavilion for just 25 runs.
Fakhr Zaman 1, Sohail Akhtar 7, Mohammad Faizan 8 and Mohammad Hafeez 2 were out. However, Ben Dunk and Tim David showed responsibility and led the Qalandars innings.
Ben Dunk of Lahore Qalandars played a brilliant game and scored 48 runs off 33 balls with the help of 2 fours and 3 sixes while Tim David completed his half century.
Rashid Khan also could not play any special game and got out by scoring 8 runs off 7 balls. After that Qalandars player James Faulkner scored 22 runs with lightning speed. His innings included two sixes and a four.
Fabian Allen took two wickets for Peshawar Zalmi while Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Irfan, Ameed Asif and Mohammad Imran took one wicket each for Qalandars.
