Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has said that the meeting of the standing committee of the education department will decide to open educational institutions from first to eighth and for matriculation and entrance examinations.
A meeting on board examinations was held under the chairmanship of Saeed Ghani in which Secretary School Education Ahmed Bakhsh Narejo, Secretary College Education Khalid Haider Shah, Additional Secretary Education and others participated.
The meeting discussed the conduct of ninth to twelfth examinations in Sindh, transparency in examinations and reforms in the examination system.
The meeting also discussed in detail the timing and modalities of board examinations and the increase in the number of examination centers for Matric and Inter examinations and other issues including practical examinations were also reviewed in the meeting.
Saeed Ghani said that all these suggestions will be put in the meeting of the standing committee of the education department. It will be decided to open the educational institutions from first to eighth in consultation. Matriculation and entrance examinations will also be decided in the meeting of the standing committee.
He said that all decisions related to education in Sindh should be taken in consultation with the stakeholders.
