LAHORE: Saga Sports has announced a match to pay tribute to former Test cricketer Abdul Qadir.
According to ARY News, Saga Sports says that an exhibition match will be held on June 13 to pay homage to the late former great cricketer Abdul Qadir. Prominent cricketers of the recent past will take part in the match.
According to Saga Sports, Imran Nazir, Abdul Rehman, Rana Naveed Al Hassan, Humayun Farhat and Imran Farhat will take part in the match.
Former Test captain Azhar Ali will also be in action, while both teams will include top women cricketers.
Imran Nazir said that the match is welcome to pay tribute to Abdul Qadir.

Abdul Rehman says that the process of paying tribute to former cricketers should have started long ago, Abdul Qadir was a real legend cricketer and such things should continue to happen.
It should be noted that Abdul Qadir died of a heart attack two years ago at the age of 63.
During his tenure, Abdul Qadir played a key role in the team’s victories as a league spinner. Googly Master took 236 wickets in Tests and 132 wickets in ODIs.
