ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to expedite corona vaccination in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to details, on social networking site Twitter, Federal Minister Asad Umar tweeted that the government would set up large vaccination centers and mobile teams in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).
He said that it was decided in the NCOC that vaccination would be further expedited.
Asad Umar further said that vaccination should be intensified in Azad Kashmir due to elections. While GB will increase the speed of vaccination due to the tourist season.
Meanwhile, special vaccine campaign of Corona has been intensified in Okara, Sahiwal and Khanewal districts of Punjab province. All resources are being utilized for immediate vaccination.
Thanks to the best strategy of the government, the rate of corona positive cases in the country has come down to 3.21%
On the other hand, the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has released the latest Corona Situation Statistics in the country which states that 47 Corona patients died in 24 hours, followed by total deaths from Corona in the country. The number became 21,576.

The NCOC says that in the last 24 hours, 40,483 corona tests were performed, of which 1,303 corona cases were detected and the corona positive rate was 3.21%.
